Chicken nest
This morning I noticed the nesting chicken under the big redwood tree was off her nest so I went over to see what was going on. Any chicks hatched out yet? Not yet but any day now, they should hatch if they are going to.
Working on the van’s radiator leak problem
After that I did some chair hopping while I figured out what I wanted to do today. I didn’t really want to do any real hard work and I was curious about my van radiator leak so I got the tools out and started taking things apart to get the radiator out of the van.
First off the van’s belly pan has to be removed which I did.
An easy one
Then I removed the front electric cooling fan which was fairly easy as I made a quick release bracket when I installed the fan.
Need a better design
Next I needed to remove the fan shroud which was a bit more complicated as I should of made it easier to get off.
Worked on the dozer some more
I got started on it when Tom came by and wanted to try priming the bulldozer fuel system again. So we got our tools and a good battery together and went up to the dozer and worked on that a bit. Still no go, I’ll have to do some more research which I did and now think I know what to do and how to do it which we’ll give a try next time.
I never did get back to the van’s fan shroud but at least I got what I got done today on the project. Once I get the fan shroud off I can investigate the leak better.
The sun was out nice today so I also did some chair hopping around the yard and cut some more bamboo and installed it on the chicken fence project.
Nice day puttering and getting some stuff done.
I’m glad you had a nice day too. I know your header pictures change each time I open you blog and sometimes they are awesome and I’m sorry I only see them once. Today, I borrowed one and will give you credit in my post. I hope you don’t mind. :)
You’ll figure out the rad leak issue, especially now in isolation.
