Skiddy Work

I rode on up into the forest to where Skiddy was parked as I had a little job for it today.

I found it parked, right where I left it.

I started it up and let it warm up a bit then headed down this road to where I had some work to do.

Water hole

I had some work to do at this little water hole. I wanted to increase the size of that water hole, not by making it larger, but by making another little water hole along side the first one, so there’d be two water holes.

I did a bit of digging and smoothing things out and parked the rig and got out to check things out.

I dug things out behind this water hole to make a second water hole.

It’s rather hard to see right now. It will show up better when it fills with water and if it doesn’t have a bad leak in it.

After getting that job done, I drove Skiddy back up to it’s parking spot and went on home for a nap.

l spent the rest of the day taking it easy.

Forest ride

Barry showed up this morning so we were off for a bike ride in the forest.

Spring

We rode around a bit, as usual and then stopped here at our main spring for a drink of water.

We rode around some more then ended up at our break area up on this ridge top.

Garden

We stopped at Tom’s garden to see if there was any fruit to eat. Not much yet.

A garden plot, potatoes, I think.

And this one is potatoes and leaks.

We headed back to my house from there. Barry took off for his place and i went in the house for a nap.
