Shopping to be done
I needed a tarp to shade my Toyota as I expect I’ll be working on it for quite some time, but I didn’t have the right tarp for the job, so I needed to go get one, so I got my shopping list together and drove on over to the shopping area. I found a tarp that would work and picked up a few other things too for my up coming Continental Divide Trip I’m prepping for.
I went by Joe’s house on the way home for a bull session, but he wasn’t home so I returned to my house and started putting up the tarp over the Toyota. I needed some poles for the job so I went out to my black bamboo patch and cut some to size and installed the tarp. I used quite a few bungee cords to help it sway with the wind, hopefully.
Tarped Toyota
Here’s the tarp set up over the Toyota.
The rest of the day I puttered around the yard doing some trip planning and chair hopping enjoying the nice day. I ate some blue berries, wild plums and harvested a few more potatoes from the potato patch.
That was my day.
Hi Dennis
Your fancy Land Cruiser looks like you have it fixed up real nice. I noticed it right away when I first saw it in the parking lot at Jenner. Having a Toyota Land cruiser has helped a lot to make my life a much fuller one from all the outdoor experiences I’ve experienced over the years.
Bob
It tickled me to see you have an old FJ, too, Bob. I sent you an email with some photos of my ’78 and my ’89 LC’s
