Spending Time Up In the Forest Fixing Up Trails

I’m waiting on parts for my van so I couldn’t work on that today.

And there were some clouds in the sky, but it didn’t seem like it was going to rain.

Well, there’s always a lot of work to do up in the forest and I needed some more exercise as I’ve been slacking it lately.

I hopped on the dirt bike and rode it on up this trail and into the hills where I had some trail work.

I didn’t need any tools as I had left some up there quite some time ago and now I only had to remember where they were so I could find them.

I had this part of the trail in good shape so I was able to ride the dirt bike up it a ways to a turn around spot I’d made for the purpose.

I parked the bike here as there was a sort of pull out in this spot and the trail needed work just up from this spot.

I found my tools and walked up this part of the trail to where I wanted to do some work today.

I wanted to widen the trail out a bit here and dig those big roots out so it would be easier to get by.

I spent most of the day working on that and only quit when my back started to scream at me. And yes, I did get plenty of exercise.
