Forest work
I headed on up into the forest again to work on the trail.
I made it to my rest area and had a nice rest before I got started.
I worked on smoothing this part of the trail out today for a couple of hours.
And I fixed this part that goes by the big fir tree whose roots are sorta getting in the way. It’s easier to go around big roots.
Taking a ride around the forest
After a good break I rode the dirt bike around the forest as it was a real nice spring day.
The Scotch Broom is blooming and taking over the place, very slowly.
I rode over to this spot and parked here for the view, not realizing I’d parked in a bunch of wild flowers until I got off the bike.
Little blue flowers
They are hard to see, but there are a lot of little blue flowers blooming in this spot where I parked the bike.
I rested at that spot and enjoyed the view for a bit.
Eventually I moved on and stopped at this spot because there were a bunch of big sticks on the road that I threw off it.
I rode on through this spring area.
And stopped here to throw the rocks off the road.
Before leaving that area I walked down this trail a bit and cleared that old rotten log off the trail.
I headed on home from there and spent the rest of the day chair hopping around the yard.
Nice day.
The trail is looking good. Narrow in some spots but quite peaceful looking.
What a nice peaceful place to live. Hard work, but worth it.
