Car hitch
I was going to need my car ball hitch so I looked to see what I have. I found the hitch but I don’t have a ball, so I’ll have to buy one.
Spring cups
I bought some metal cups for the springs so having nothing else to do, I drove on up to each spring and put one of the cups at each one.
I drove to Choker spring.
I decided on the red cup for it.
And the main spring got the light blue cup.
Road work
After that, I drove on over to all the neighbors main road up into the hills and had a good look at it. I’m going to help them fix it up so it will drain better, so needed to check it out to make a plan to work on it. It washes out bad every winter from the rains. While I was at it, I decided to go to Tractor Supply to buy a new trailer to haul my side by side around and it will also be useful to bring materials for stuff home from stores.
Tractor Supply
First off, I had a look at the tool boxes for mounting on a trailer tongue. I should of gone with this one, but I went for another one that turned out to be wrong.
I had a look at the trailer I was interested in, but it needed to have the tires mounted on it, so I looked for some help and found it. I supervised this guy while he put the tires on. It’s an aluminum trailer and should work good to haul Hondo around.
We got everything taken care of and loaded the box I picked out. When I got home, I realized the squarish type box wasn’t going to work as the squared corners would hit the towing rig when it turns, so I need to return that one and get the one with the trimmed off corners.
