Bulkhead work
i decided to put a piece of metal sheeting in the bulkhead as I don’t have enough rocks to fill it nearby. I cut it to length and put a few holes in it to wire it up.
I installed the panel and used a few wires to hold it to the fence.
I brought the chainsaw down to cut this redwood limb up to size to put in the bulkhead along with some other limbs to help hold the metal sheet in and to fill up space.
You can see where I stuffed some limbs in there behind the metal sheet.
A mumble, jumble of sticks.
And I added some rocks from the creek and will add a few more, eventually, but that’s enough for one day, eh.
Bike ride in the forest
I hopped on the dirt bike and went for a ride up into the forest, mostly because I wanted to talk with my cousin, but they weren’t home, so I just rode around and stopped here at our memorial for a bit.
Back home for a nap and something to eat.
Skiddy gets rocks
A bit later, I took Skiddy up into the hills to retrieve a load of rocks for a bulkhead that needs it.
I picked up the rock and am headed back to my place to dump the rock in the bulkhead. The trick is not to lose all of the rocks out of the bucket on the way.
The rock got dumped in this bulkhead. I think it needs at least one more load to finish this project off.
I took it easy around the yard for the rest of the day.
