Roof
I found my push broom and got the ladder out and went up on my roof to sweep it off. Lots of redwood debris falls out of the big redwood trees this time of year. The wood came from another redwood tree in the yard and is made of the trees big limbs.
This is what I sweep off the roof. My wheelbarrow is in the creek so this will have to wait to get cleaned up when I get the wheelbarrow out of the creek. It makes nice mulch.
Creek
After that, I went down in the creek to collect some rocks for the bulkhead behind there. The water washed all my rocks out of this area last winter during a big storm. I need to fill the area back up with rocks or something. I’m thinking a sheet of metal might help in this spot so I went up and cut a piece for putting in later as I was tired of that job and needed something easier to do.
Skiddy
I needed some other rocks for another bulkhead, so rode Skiddy up into the hills to the rock slide area and got a load. Round trip takes about an hour.
I dumped the load in this area, another bulkhead. Looks like I could use a few more loads.
The rest of the day I napped and took it easy.
