Putter day
I didn’t have much planned for the day so I mostly puttered around the yard and enjoyed the day.
Patch
I did patch this spot in the asphalt with some clay I brought down from the hills. I think it will work, but no real loss if it doesn’t. Even though it looks brown it’s mostly blue clay with a bunch of little rocks in it.
Peeps peeping
Of course I supervised the peeps for a good bit.
Eating stuff
I have a lot of wild plum trees getting ripe right now and blueberries and raspberries that I wonder around the yard and graze throughout the day. There’s a few loquats too that are tasting good.
And a little van work
I did finally get the belly pan bolted onto the van and then I spent a lot of time figuring out how to mount a radiator fluid recovery tank. There’s not much room in the van’s engine compartment to mount one. I finally was able to squeeze it in here, the yellow thing. Once I got that far I worked on a design for something to hold it in place. I have an idea and now I have to make a bracket.
The evening was nice so I did a lot of chair hopping and watching the chickens.
Nice day.
