Shopping day
The rain mostly quit late this morning so I was off to the shopping centers to do some shopping.
Lumber
I pulled into Friedman’s yard and hunted up the lumber area. It’s nice because you can pull right up to the stack of lumber you need and load up what you need and pay on the way out. The price of lumber wasn’t as bad as I expected it to be which was nice. I haven’t bought any lumber for quite some time, so I don’t really know how bad the price was, but I heard it was real bad, but it must of come down some. At any rate, I didn’t need the pot of gold which was good.
I got my lumber all loaded up on top of the van and all tied down and then drove on over to this area.
Steel rebar
As long as I was getting stuff, I wanted to get some steel rebar, just to have some around to build stuff with, when I needed some.
Then it was into the store to get some screws to put all the stuff together and I was soon on the way home.
Rain showers
Just as I pulled into the driveway, it started to rain, so I went into the house for a bit to get something to eat. The rain was only a shower and was soon over so it was time to get the van unloaded. I got all the lumber on the ground and then I needed to unload my brother’s truck as he got the metal roofing material for me the other day when he picked up his seedling potato starts.
I soon had all the steel metal roofing unloaded as the rain showers held out long enough for me to get it done.
I think I have enough materials now to finish up my moveable shed I’m working on.
