Shopping, New Hydraulic Hose and Some Other Stuff

Tuesday November 5, 2019 Guerneville CA.

Shopping day

I needed to get the new hydraulic hose for the bulldozer so I needed to get over to the shopping areas.

I go to an old place called Sebastopol Hydraulics. The line was long when I got there. Seems everyone needed a new hose.

Long line

So the only thing to do was strike up a bull session with the guys in line to  make the time go by faster. Lucky there was a couple of interesting guys in the line all about my age.

I got the hose and a couple of parts and headed on over to Walmart where I needed a couple of things.

Got some chocolate bars

I checked out their oil black sunflower seeds. They were a good price but they had vitamins and stuff added to them which I don’t buy so I didn’t get any of those. I did get a couple of chocolate bars. Yum. Corn less of course. I was thinking of going to Home Depot too but figured that can wait.

Not much at Costco

From there I went over to Costco to buy a few things. Since I go corn less there’s not too much I can buy there and it’s always the case that they stop carrying stuff. Two items I couldn’t find. Oh well, I guess I didn’t need them.

Feed store

I had one more stop to make. I had to go across the city to the feed store to get those oil black sunflower seeds for the chickens. The back road to get there was supposed to be under construction but I took it anyway. It turned out they were just getting started so I was able to shoot right through despite all the signs.

With the Daylight Saving time gone it was just getting dark as I arrived back home. I unloaded the stuff, well most of it, I just remembered I have more to do.

I gave the chickens some extra food and went in the house for a short nap.

That was my day for another good one.
