Sore Back, Some Visiting and a Dirt Bike Ride In the Hills

Backs wiped out

The plumbing I did yesterday really wiped out my back. It got real sore last night after it got dark. I did the ice pack on it, but that wasn’t enough. When I woke up this morning I couldn’t straighten up and was pretty hunched over. I put the ice pack on again which only helped a little.

Bike ride therapy

Barry showed up in the front yard to go for a dirt bike ride up in the hills. I decided to go as it might help loosen the back up a bit. I said, no real steep hills today and we took off. Getting on the bike was the hard part, but once on, the back felt a bit better.

We rode around the place a bit collecting the game cam cards and stopped at this spring for a drink of water. My back improved a little. At least it wasn’t getting any worse.

Visit

Then we rode up to my cousin’s place for a visit. We shot the bull with them for an hour or so, then took off for our break area on the ridge top were we took it easy for awhile.

From there we rode around a bit more, then headed for home.

I put the ice pack on again and now I could stand up a bit. I took it easy the rest of the day, doing some research on the internet and did another ice pack. The back is going to take some time to mend.
