Too Pooped To Do Much, So I Did What I Could

Forest work

I knew where some trees were across the road up in the hills, so I grabbed my chainsaws and headed that way.

I had to stop to remove this little tree, easy work.

I made it to the trees I knew where down and started to cut them up.

I didn’t get far and I was already worn out, so it was break time. I just finished up a ten day fast, so I’m a little short on energy.

I went back to work on that one and got it done after a couple more breaks.

I didn’t get far before I ran into the next ones. I decided I’d get these out and that was enough for one day.

I rode around a bit more and ended up on the ridge top. The little town of Guerneville is down there and a river that floods a lot. It flooded a few days ago, but not very bad.

I realized the rig was about out of gas, so I headed for home. I had to go to town to get some gas and filled it up.

Later in the day, I  headed up into the park to go check on the rock slide to see if it was still open, or needed some work.

The rock slide was in real good shape, so I went on home for the day.
