Watering
I put on some sprinklers in the yard today as I want the weeds to grow a lot for the chickens to eat.
I looked at this woodchip pile that needs to be moved to the raspberry patch but not today. The chickens are doing a good job of tearing the pile up.
Headed up into the forest
Around 2 I hopped on the quad runner and rode on up to the waterfall work area and did a bit of trail work. I’m trying to get all the trail work done in this area before the ground dries out and the work becomes harder. I’m just about done in this area.
This is my break spot sitting on an old log looking up at the waterfall area.
I noticed these tree roots growing into the creek area.
It takes a lot to hold up a big tree. This one happens to be a big fir tree.
Tree down
After a bit of trail work and a good break I went for a walk. I ran into this downed tree across the trail so I did some huffing and puffing and was able to just barely push it out of the way.
Then I continued my walk through the forest here.
And back up through here to get back to my quad runner.
I headed on home on the quad runner through here.
Once I was back home I needed a nap and I just couldn’t get it going the rest of the day.
Nice day.
I just have to say it, Bob. Even though I understand WHY you do it, you are still the only one I know who waters the weeds so they’ll grow!! haha
I’m sure you’re enjoying your home space. Stay well!
