Our Trip to Ajo

Marty, Patti and I left Quartzsite around eleven this morning and traveled to Ajo. We arrived in the afternoon, without incident. Marty and Patti checked in at the Shadow Ridge Resort RV place. I chose to sleep out in the desert on Darby Wells Rd, which is just south of town.

Dinner was real good.

We had dinner tonight at Marcela’s cafe which is very good Mexican and American food, just up the road from us.

Marble Mountain is on for tomorrow’s jeep ride.

Tomorrow we are going out in the desert for a jeep ride on the Pipe line road that goes pretty much east from here. We are going to a place called Marble Mountain, which is a place that has rocks that are round Marbles.  about an inch in diameter. If we find it, I’ll get some pics.

I’ll be headed out to my night camp shortly after I post this.
