Chicken feed day
I was almost out of chicken feed so I headed towards the feed store today.
Cheese Factory first
But on the way I stopped at the Cheese Factory to get some cheese. I drove down to their farm and store on this road. It looks like they are tilling the ground getting it ready to plant some stuff for their cows.
I drove up to the store by this old barn.
Anybody here
And I always have to give a shout through this door to let them know they have a customer.
Feed store
I opened one of the cheeses and nibbled on it on the way to the chicken feed store here in Petaluma where I backed in my car for loading. They do the loading which is nice as they have younger guys that can lift the heavy sacks of seeds I buy.
I continued to nibble on my cheese on the way home.
Unloading
I started by unloading the sacks of feed from the car and then had a break and watched the chickens for awhile.
Full shed
Then I used the cart I made to haul the feed to the storage shed which I loaded up with feed.
Repaired the air hose
I remembered I had a bad air leak in my air hose on my air compressor that I discovered before going on my trip but had forgot about it so I found a hose clamp and cut the bad hose part out and fixed it up.
Low car tire
I needed the air for my car as I noticed one of the tires was a little low after loading up the chicken feed but still had enough air to get home I’d hoped and it did.
The rest of the day was spent taking it easy and doing some chair hopping around the yard with the chickens.
