Working our way North
Shortly after I woke this morning I got a bad headache. More altitude sickness. I took some meds and had a nap and it finally went away. So after a short delay this morning we left our camp spot and got on the road. We were taking 32 North on this road.
Not much traffic and it was a nice road to travel on.
There was a bit of construction, but it didn’t slow us down a lot as our road north turned into 471 north through New Mexico.
We travelled all day with lots of clouds forming, but very little rain.
As we got near the Colorado border we started to see some of these rock formations.
We made it to the Colorado border and were looking for a place to camp without much luck when we drove into Ute Mountain Casino. The guys got a hotel room and I found a place in the parking lot to settle into for the night.
Today we mostly made tracks north on paved roads. Once we get far enough north we’ll turn west in another day or so.
That’s it for the day.
Nice day.

The parking lot isn’t near as pretty as what you’ve experienced on your trip! Ha ha
It’ll do for a night, eh?
Enjoy the journey.
