Rainy day
It started to rain around 11 this morning and then let up to a very light drizzle.
Marty came by for a visit around noon. We sat around shooting the bull waiting to see what the rain was going to do as we were planning to go for a ride up into the forest.
Well, the drizzle didn’t let up, but we decided to go for a ride anyway. If we got too wet, we’d just head for home.
I took the small chainsaw up with us but forgot the camera which was just as well with the light drizzle.
With the drizzle we decided to ride up under the larger trees to avoid the drizzle as much as possible. We took some breaks on the way up an stopped at a couple of spots to cut some small trees off the road. We were going to go high up on the mountain, but with the drizzle we decided to stay lower on trails that had larger trees on them, which we did.
We thought the drizzle might let up, but it never did. On the way back down the hill we stopped at the game cam and picked up the card and replaced it with a blank one.
Back home we sat around and shot the bull some more then Marty left for home and I went in for a nap as with the drizzle there wasn’t much else to do.

The fox that’s been going by every night went by and headed down the road which is the way it went the other night.
And I was surprised to see this buck go by. The oak acorns are falling so they are likely up here eating them.
They seem to sense the game cam or maybe they see the night lights.
